Year 9 students explored their understanding of what is means to be an entrepreneur in a fun filled workshop recently, delivered by Barbara Edgar from Young Enterprise. Students benefited from hearing the personal experiences of local entrepreneur Gordon McDaid who captured students’ attention and described how he came to establish his own consultancy firm
Students were then given the challenge of designing, making and advertising their very own board game. They subsequently delivered a presentation to their peers to promote their own products. It was a pleasure to see our students’ enthusiasm, creativity and confidence soar as they engaged in the workshop.
