Farewell to Principal Adrian

Today we say farewell to an incredible leader, Mr Adrian Walsh, who has dedicated 34 years to our school, including 7 as Principal. Throughout his journey—from Form Teacher to Principal—he showed unwavering commitment, adaptability, and passion for education.

More than a teacher of subjects like Business and Maths, he taught values—kindness, resilience, and ambition—and built genuine relationships with students and staff alike. He led by example, never shying away from any task, big or small, always putting students first.

Even in his final year, he stepped up to teach and support where needed, proving his dedication was never about titles, but about doing what was right. His leadership, compassion, and vision have left a lasting impact on generations.

On behalf of the entire school community, thank you for your incredible service and legacy to the pupils of St Colm’s. You leave big shoes to fill, but an even bigger example to follow.
