St Colm’s was privileged to be asked by the Samaritans to run a competition to design their Christmas card for 2020. The entries were judged by Ken Bamford and Marie White from the Samaritans, and Crystal Gains’ (9O) image and message was chosen for the card. Clodagh McCann (10S) and Bronagh Green (8S) were both runners up. All three pupils received a prize for their efforts and we are delighted to celebrate their achievements on the school website and Facebook page. A big thanks to all who took part in the competition – your work was fantastic!
The school made a generous donation to the Samaritans and we have packets of cards available for sale. We would be grateful if, instead of buying your Christmas cards at retail outlets this year, that you could purchase a pack or two of these. Your money will be going to an extremely worthy cause! Cards are £4 per pack – if you’re interested please send in the money with your son or daughter.
